Philippe Jambon is a wildly gifted vigneron. He makes wines in the way that few can, pure and natural and beautifully balanced. In Beaujolais, Philippe farms just a few hectares of vines. To augment this he sources and fruit and wine made by his neighbors who farm with the same honesty that he does. No chemicals, no added sulfites. Only grapes harvested from organically farmed vines. This 2018 Chenas from his friend Louis Damien Bouchacourt is superb. Luscious Gamay juice, pure and refreshing flavors. The kind of wine you can drink anytime.
