Rioja's governing body gave the 2001 vintage its highest rating and that excellence is reflected on this cuvée of Viña Tondonia Reserva. A blend of 75% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha, and 10% Graciano and Mazuelo grapes. The wine was aged for several years in barrels then in bottle before release. One of the great Rioja.
