Vino Rosso Sicilia (Mt. Etna) "Qvevri", Vino di Anna 2019

Made with old vines of Nerello Mascalese from organically farmed vineyards on terraced hillsides at an elevation of over 700 meters. The grapes were vinified in Georgian Qvevri handmade by Zaiko Bozhadze, near the village of Maqatubani in Imereti. The clay has been carefully sourced high in the Caucasus Mountains. Fermentation is with wild yeasts, without additives, and no added sulfites and the wines were bottled unfined and unfiltered.
